Anytime we have a 3 day weekend it's a great excuse to make the trek back to Idaho to see our family so Labor Day was no exception. The trip back is a bit longer since we add a stop with Benjamin now, but it's worth it.
We got in late Friday night and it doesn't take long for Benjamin to recognize his Aunt Amanda, Nana and Grandfather and realize he's in for a weekend of spoiling :-)
Saturday morning Dad and I went garage saling while Benjamin slept in with Daddy. Then all of my brothers came over for a bit of a BBQ lunch...it's always fun to get everyone together. Benjamin's cousin Alexander is about 4 months younger than he is but it won't be long before they are fast friends I'm sure.
Benjamin is SUCH a goof!
He had fun playing dress up with Uncle Aaron and Aunt Hannah....we're looking forward to their baby girl due in October!!
This picture reminds me of how much Benjamin did NOT sleep that weekend. He must have been too excited to play with everyone because he was up a lot at night and hardly took any naps at all. He looks so tired in this picture, ha! I also remember him mimicking his Nana and tilting his head from side to side like she did....so cute.
Amanda, Peter, Hannah and I roamed the mall for awhile on Sunday after church and finally the two cute little boogers crashed together in the backseat!
The weekends always go too fast but we love them and can't wait for the next one.
