Peter and I were so excited when we found out that Anita and Nate and her kiddies were going to be driving up from San Diego to spend a vacation with us here in Oregon! It had been a couple years since they were up here so we were ecstatic! They arrived Saturday July 2nd and stayed through July 9th (of course they would later come back for a few more days because they can't get enough of us. That, and we provide free lodging and have a cute little boy! Ha!)
We had a blast while they were here so here's tons of pictures of all our good times.
we celebrated Anita's birthday (which wasn't until the 11th) but we love Anita and any excuse for cake!

| then we headed to Fort Vancouver to celebrate the 4th of July! It wasn't quite the day of patriotism we were expecting but was fun nonetheless |

once the fireworks started we realized our view was completely blocked by trees. We had a great laugh and quickly rushed our strollers over a bit so the kiddos could enjoy all the fireworks

we stayed the night at a hotel, didn't get a whole lot of sleep, but went swimming in the pool the next morning

the next day we hired 2 babysitters to watch the kiddies and we headed off to Par 3 golf! We used to do this all the time pre-kids and it was SO fun to have a little golfing date together

Anita and Nate had to head to Seattle to take care of a few things and visit some friends so we said goodbye to them on Saturday morning then headed to the coast for the day with Mom and Dad.

The next week Anita and Nate spent the week with Mom & Dad at their place then headed back our direction the following Wednesday. We were so glad they came back for a few more days (we even got to squeeze an extra day out of them too!)

We had such a fabulous time having the Larmores in town! It made for a full house of fun and I really loved every second. We'll have to make this an every couple of year tradition? Maybe next time we'll drive down to San Diego?! Thanks for coming to visit guys, we love you and miss you lots, come again soon :-)
Gosh April you are just so beautiful! And Ben is getting SO big, he is just as adorable as can be! Miss you guys!
