Oh wow, I am SO behind on this blog. Summer has been crazy busy, but a blast.
I'm going to try to slowly catch up on what we've been up to!
We've had a lot of family in town this past month but before all that we were busy with a few other things.
We went to the birthday party of our friend Elijah. I can't believe he turned 7! We love this guy and had a great time at his water party. Benjamin had so much fun, he had to be stripped down to his diaper for the car ride home :-)
Peter also finished up the bookshelf and tile around the fireplace. I haven't taken an updated picture but I will soon. I was able to help a bit with the paint and the grout and we were both more than ready for it to be done. Though Ben was sad to have the ladder put back in the garage!
In the midst of prepping for company we also complete a full week of VBS at church. Peter and I co-taught a group and we had a great time. Benjamin stayed in nursery for most of the time and he did really well. It was an evening VBS so between house projects, parenting, VBS, etc...it was a long week!
We also spent time hanging out together in our yard and trying to enjoy the summer, even though the sunshine had yet to really come to Oregon at this point.

Add in the regular routine of cleaning, naps, baths, small group, and church......summer was already beginning to fly by. Here's a few more pics, more to come about our fun family visits!
