Another weekend in the books

This weekend was a mix of being very productive and kinda lazy, exactly how I like them!

Friday afternoon we had lunch in the park with Daddy which we always love.

Friday night we went to the Corvallis Knights baseball game, they were giving away free tickets.  The Zderads went too and it was fun to catch up with them since it'd been awhile since we'd really had a chance to hang out.  It was a good game, beautiful night and fun company.  No pictures though, sorry I forgot.  The funniest part is that on our way home we stopped at Wal-Mart so I could go in to buy us a snack.  We got Benjamin to sleep then baked frozen chicken wings and an apple crumb pie, ate it in bed while watching episodes of the Office.  A great cap to our evening :-)

Saturday we hit a few garage sales in the morning then spent the afternoon completely gutting our attic storage, baby clothes and our clothes.  We donated a TON of stuff to our local Teen Challenge store and have a bunch more stuff for a couple people we know.  I got rid of sooo many clothes, it was a bit embarrassing how many I had.  It feels awesome to have purged through our stuff though!  We were exhausted by the end of the day.

This morning we went to church and heard a wonderful message.  We came home and grilled hamburgers for lunch then both Peter and Benjamin took short naps.  We vegged this afternoon just enjoying our sweet man then of course made the traditional weekend trip to Wal-Mart.  It was hilarious because Benjamin looked like this the whole time in the cart....
He gripped both ends sooo tightly.  It was like he was afraid his mama was going to take the corners too fast, ha!

After the Wal-Mart trip we headed to the park in town for some fun.  We were the only ones there so we just enjoyed the sweet time as a family.

His hair goes CRAZY when he swings :-)

I'm pretty sure the swings are his favorite part!

His newest love is climbing.  He moved his legs up as if he knew exactly what he was doing.  It kind of scares this mama that I might have a little monkey climber on my hands.

Peeking through the hole at the top of the slide

Finally made it to the top, I'm exhausted!

Riding the little duck (I'm secretly laughing at how uncomfortable the duck's tail was on Peter's tail, HA!)

Couldn't get him to smile but I sure love my little bugs
