Today was a beautiful day so we decided to venture out and pick our Christmas tree! We had a few errands to run in the Salem area so we went there first and hit the tree farm on the way home.

For the past 3 years we have gone to the Volstadt Tree Farm in Albany. It's a fun place where you can cut your own trees, ride a wagon and warm up with cookies, cocoa and cider afterwards.
Benjamin was in a great mood and was excited for the tractor ride!

After we loaded up the tree, warmed up with some cider and cookies, we headed to downtown Albany to enjoy a lunch/dinner of BBQ!! Yummy!!!
We headed home, put up the tree, gave Benjamin a bath, and let him put up his first ornaments.
