I think weekends are especially wonderful when you are a mom to an infant. The extra helping hand, the extra rest and little on the agenda is awesome. Peter and I just enjoy spending time at home as a family and relaxing.
Friday night we did go to the birthday party of sweet Haddie, who is turning 6. Benjamin was a little more into the new Thomas train book he got in the gift exchange then in running around with the girls and boys, but he had a great time.
Saturday was low key. We spent the day mostly at home, cleaning a bit, just playing with our boys. A trip to Wal-Mart was the one outing.
Today was a great church service, then we had lasagna for lunch and took a nap (well, tried to sleep, but a noisy Jonah would only let us lay down and not really sleep) After Benjamin woke up we went for a walk to visit the horse nearby since it was so sunny and a bit more mild in temperature. We're finishing the evening with our usual Sunday night in watching Finding Nemo, Benjamin's favorite :-)
Enjoy some pictures from this past weekend...
